Pigott / BAFTA Scholar

Sahar Ghorishi is a British-Iranian filmmaker and is awarded the Pigott- BAFTA Scholarship.

Sahar is studying Directing at Chapman University and is creating art between London and California. The majority of their work revolves around shedding light on the pain and beauty of the Middle East. Before attending Chapman University, Sahar created a platform to showcase short films and photography from the MENA / SWANA region known as Journey of/to Dawn. They are very thankful to have been able to collaborate more with folks here and showcase the case on Journey of/to Dawn.
