Winner's acceptance speech by Mo Gilligan for The Late-ish Show in the Entertainment Performance
MO GILLIGAN: Oh my god I was not prepared for this. I wrote a speech, this is an incredible honour. I have to thank my girlfriend, my close friends, my family. I also want to thank Saida, Ed, Tom, Becky and Phil at Channel 4. And major big ups to Ben Wicks and Rianne—expectation—and yeah, just as a personal note, this award means so much to me, I can’t tell you. Even the names that I am with, is like blew my mind away to be here.
It also gives hope to so many people who sound like me, look like me and are from the same background as me.
So, yeah, man, UTC, we brought it home Bruv, we brought it home.
Thank you, Oh my gosh, I’m so gassed.
