A British actor who trained at RADA before touring with the RSC, Jason established himself on television with notable roles in Maigret (1960-163), Hamlet (1961) and the Doctor Who serial The Androids of Tara (1978). Notable big screen roles came in From Russia With Love (1963) and The Duellists (1977).
