A British actress who began her screen career aged 13 in Sing As We Go! (1934), Pavlow performed mostly on the stage until after the war. She got her big screen break as a contract player in It Started In Paradise (1952) before appearing in Malta Story (1953), Doctor in the House (1954) and Reach for the Sky (1956).
