A Czech director who received a BAFTA for helming the classic One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest (1975), Forman received further BAFTA nominations for writing and directing Taking Off (1971), and a Best Film nomination for Amadeus (1984). He also notably directed Hair (1979), The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996) and Man on the Moon (1999).
