An American director and cinematographer who learned his craft studying under Vilmos Zsigmond, Gershman was best known for his work on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003) and Crossing Jordan (2001-2005). He notably shot 82 episodes of Buffy and directed a further 10.
