An American actor best known for his role as Cliff Barnes on Dallas (1978-1991), Kercheval and Larry Hagman played arch-rivals on the show and were the only actors to appear throughout its entire run. On the big screen he appeared in films including The Secret Storm (1968), Network (1976) and The Lincoln Conspiracy (1977).
