John Mollo

A British costume designer who began his film career as a historical advisor on films such as Barry Lyndon (1975), Mollo switched tracks after designing the iconic costumes for Star Wars (1977). He won an Oscar for his work on George Lucas’ film, winning a second for Gandhi (1982), and was five times BAFTA-nominated.
