James Horner

Composer
14 August 1953 to 22 June 2015

A prolific American composer who contributed scores and original songs to over 150 films, Horner won multiple Grammys for his work on An American Tail (1986), Glory (1989) and Titanic (1997), with the latter also winning him two Oscars. He received BAFTA nominations for Braveheart (1995), Titanic and Avatar (2009).
