A British director who enjoyed a diverse career before finding a flair for drama, Duncan handed first TV roles to actors including David Tennant, Peter Mullan, Alan Cumming and Alan Rickman. He ultimately enjoyed stints on all of the UK’s major soaps, directing episodes of Hollyoaks (1996-1997), Eastenders (1997-1998), Coronation Street (2000-2004) and Emmerdale (2002-2008).
