A British director whose career began as an assistant director on films such as The Dam Busters (1955), Goode made his directorial debut with Journey of a Lifetime (1961). He went on to direct more than a dozen features including Death Is a Woman (1966), The Syndicate (1968) and The Hand of the Night (1968).
