A much loved French actress, Dubost made her name with eye-catching roles in Le Roi Des Champs-Elysees (1934), Hotel du Nord (1938) and La Regle du Jeu (1939). Always in demand her other appearances came in films such as Lola Montès (1955), Viva Maria! (1965) and The Last Metro (1980).
