A British make up artist, who was a trailblazer in her field as the first woman to be trained as a make up artist at Shepperton Studios. Connie Reeve’s subsequent film credits included The Tales of Hoffmann (1951), Moulin Rouge (1952), Beat the Devil (1953), Superman (both 1978), Clash of the Titans (1981), Gandhi (1982), The Jigsaw Man (1983) and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), and for television, Space: 1999 (1976-1977) and The Woman in Black (1989).
