An American actress best known for her debut role as the eldest Von Trapp daughter, Liesl, in the beloved musical The Sound of Music (1965), Carr's defining moment came singing the number Sixteen Going On Seventeen. She made only one further screen appearance, starring alongside Anthony Perkins in the TV movie Evening Primrose (1966).
