Billie Whitelaw

A British actress who was a favourite of Samuel Beckett on the stage, Whitelaw won two BAFTA TV awards for Best Actress. She won a Best Supporting Actress BAFTA for Charlie Bubbles (1967) and Twister Nerve (1968), and was nominated for Hell Is a City (1960), The Omen (1976) and The Krays (1990).
