A British editor who began his career in the sound department on films including Help! (1965), Blunden moved into editing in the late 1960s and his notable credits included Warlords of Atlantis (1978) and To Dance with the White Dog (1993). He received two Emmy nominations, winning for All Quiet on the Western Front (1979).
