Nominations Announced: BAFTA Games Awards 2024

BAFTA today announces the nominations for the 20th BAFTA Games Awards, highlighting an outstanding level of creative excellence from a broad range of UK and international development teams. A total of 40 games across 17 categories were nominated today.

God of War Ragnarök wins the EE Game of the Year Award at the 2023 BAFTA Games Awards

  • God of War Ragnarök is crowned the 2023 winner of the EE Game of the Year Award – the only award voted for by the public
  • The BAFTA Games Awards were hosted at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank, London by games and esports host, Frankie Ward, and live streamed exclusively on BAFTA’s Twitch
  • The 2023 nominees were: Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarök, Horizon Forbidden West, Immortality, Marvel Snap and Stray
  • The six players that make up EXCEL Esports’ female Game Changers squad presented the EE Game of the Year Award to God of War Ragnarök
  • EE’s partnership with the BAFTA Games Awards forms part of a wider ambition to become the UK’s number one destination for gaming
