The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has today announced the recipients of a new BAFTA Scholarship Programme, which will assist talented people in need of financial support to study a post-graduate course in film, television or games.

BAFTA's annual film lecture will take place on 18 November 2012 and will be delivered by writer/director Pedro Almodóvar.

Entry is now open for the 2013 Arqiva British Academy Television Awards and British Academy Television Craft Awards. Together, they reward very best television broadcast on British screens during the preceding year.

In a glittering ceremony on Sunday 30 October at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay, BAFTA in Wales hosted its landmark 21st annual British Academy Cymru Awards to celebrate the very best of the television, film and interactive industry in Wales.
