A Japanese game character artist, who is best known for the Shining series, working on seven of them in total, from his outline and storyboard artwork on Shining in the Darkness (1991) for the Sega Genesis to his monster designs for PlayStation 2’s Shining Force EXA (2007). Yoshitaka Tamaki also created the original stories for Landstalker (1992) and FEDA: The Emblem of Justice (1996), directing the latter. He formed his own company, Salamander Factory, in 1997.
