A British actor, who won a BAFTA for his supporting role in The Full Monty (1997), a character he reprised for its 2023 mini-series sequel of the same name. A star of more than 120 film and television productions, Tom Wilkinson was nominated a further five times, for the films Shakespeare in Love (1998), In the Bedroom (2001) and Michael Clayton (2007) – the latter two also earning him Oscar nods – and for television’s Martin Chuzzlewit (1994) and Cold Enough for Snow (1997). He was appointed OBE in 2005.
