A British actor, who became a soap icon for his portrayal of Zak Dingle on more than 2,390 episodes of Emmerdale (1994-2023). Steve Halliwell had previously starred in other British soaps, including The Practice (1985-1986) and Coronation Street (1984-1994), as well as featuring in such dramas as All Creatures Great and Small (1983-1990), Children’s Ward (1990), G.B.H. (1991), Heartbeat and Cracker (both 1993).
