An American writer who wrote over 250 children’s books, Cole was best known for her Magic School Bus series which presented scientific facts through the prism of fantastical adventures. The series was successfully adapted for television twice with the animated series’ The Magic School Bus (1994-1997) and The Magic School Bus Rides Again (2017-2018).
