A record-setting American National Football League fullback, who went on to act in more than 50 films and television shows after retirement from the sport. Jim Brown’s most notable films are The Dirty Dozen (1967), Ice Station Zebra (1968), 100 Rifles (1969), The Split (1969), Slaughter (1972), Vengeance (1976), The Running Man (1987), I’m Gonna Git You Sucka (1988), Mars Attacks! (1996), He Got Game (1998) and Any Given Sunday (1999). On the small screen, he appeared in episodes of CHiPs (1979-1983), Knight Rider (1984), TJ Hooker (1983-1984), The A-Team (1986) and Soul Food (2004). He was also an outspoken activist on civil rights.
