A British director and editor, who is best known for his work on the classic 1960s’ marionette television series Thunderbirds for AP Films. David Elliott was first an editor on The Adventures of Twizzle (1957-1958), before he moved into directing, beginning with Four Feather Falls (1960) and then Supercar (1961-1962), Fireball XL5 (1963), Stingray (1964-1965) and Thunderbirds (1965-1966). He edited and directed episodes of other TV series across his long career, but returned to Thunderbirds to direct its special anniversary episode in 2015.
