A British actress, who worked in theatre and on British television. Brigit Forsyth is perhaps best known most recently for her role as Madge in Still Open All Hours (2013-2019), but she came to TV fame in the 1970s’ Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads? (1973-1974). Other notable work included The Glamour Girls (1980-1982), Tom, Dick and Harriet (1982-1983), Sharon and Elsie (1984-1985), The Practice (1985-1986), Boon (1989) and Playing the Field (1998-2002).
