Owain Astles

Owain’s work has been screened at BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying festivals and he is a BAFTA Connect member. He is a passionate advocate for homelessness awareness and prison abolition, two issues he explores within his work. Most recently, Owain directed ‘The Process’, a short documentary about co-creation and prejudice within the UK criminal justice system. In 2018 he gave a TEDx talk, on his own lived experience of homelessness.
