A South African-born marketing and publicity executive, who spent most of his career in Warner Bros’ European office. Julian Senior joined Warner from MGM as a consultant in 1970 and worked his way up to become senior vice-president by 1993, eventually retiring in 2000. He worked on multiple campaigns for the studio, including A Clockwork Orange (1971), The Shining (1980), Chariots of Fire (1981), Local Hero (1983), The Killing Fields (1984), The Mission (1986), Lethal Weapon, Full Metal Jacket (both 1987), Goodfellas (1990), Unforgiven (1992), The Bodyguard (1992) and Heat (1995).
