Jennell Jaquays

An American game designer and artist, who was perhaps best known for her art and designs for tabletop gaming but also worked in games. Jennell Jaquays was director of game design at Coleco in the 1980s, then worked as a level designer and artist for id Software, Interplay and Ensemble Studios. Her credits included Pac-Man and Donkey Kong ports, as well as J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings: Vol. I (1990), Quake II (1997), Quake III Arena (1999), Age of Empires III (2005) and Halo Wars (2009). She was also creative director of the Transgender Human Rights Institute in Seattle.
