An American film producer, who was nominated for BAFTA’s Outstanding British Film for Onegin (1999). Latterly based in the UK, Ileen Maisel co-founded Amber Entertainment in 2009, after holding senior executive production or acquisitions roles at MGM/UA, Lorimar Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Fine Line Features and New Line Cinema. Other producer or executive producer credits included Twelfth Night (1996), Ripley’s Game (2002), The Golden Compass (2007), Inkheart (2008), Romeo & Juliet (2013), Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism (2015) and Big Rad Wolf (2020).
