A British actor, who is best known for portraying Private Pike in beloved British comedy Dad’s Army (1968-1977) and Derek Harkinson in more than 200 episodes of BBC soap EastEnders (2001-2017). Ian Lavender’s other notable credits included Canterbury Tales (1969), Carry On Behind (1975), Mr. Big (1977), Come Back Mrs. Noah (1977-1978), The Hello Goodbye Man (1984) and various guest appearances on such popular shows as Yes Minister (1982), Goodnight Sweetheart (1998) and Stella (2014).
