A British actress, who won a BAFTA for Most Promising Newcomer to Leading Film Roles for Ken Russell’s Mahler (1974). Georgina Hale had previously worked with the filmmaker on The Devils and The Boy Friend (both 1971) and worked with him again on Lisztomania (1975), Valentino (1977) and Treasure Island (1995). Her small screen credits included Budgie (1971-1972), Ladykillers (1980), After the Dance (1992), the T-Bag children’s series (1990-1993), A Rather English Marriage (1998), Hollyoaks (2010-2011) and various plays made for television.
