An American actor, who was nominated for a BAFTA and Oscar for his film debut in Bus Stop (1956). Don Murray earned almost 100 performance credits across film and television, but he also wrote, produced and directed. His work included Shake Hands With the Devil (1959), The Hoodlum Priest (1961), Advise & Consent (1962), The Outcasts (1968-1969), The Cross and the Switchblade (1970), Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972), How the West Was Won (1977), Knots Landing (1979-1982), Peggy Sue Got Married (1986), Made in Heaven (1987) and Twin Peaks (2017).
