An American actor, who is best known for playing Ken Hutchison in US cop show Starsky and Hutch (1975-1979). David Soul appeared in various other US productions, including Salem’s Lot (1979), The Yellow Rose (1983-1984) and Unsub (1989), before pursuing his stage career in the UK, where he was granted citizenship in 2004. He would guest star in Holby City (2001-2002), Poirot (2004) and Inspector Lewis (2012) and play the title role in the screen adaptation of Jerry Springer: The Opera (2005). He also had a successful singing career.
