BAFTA headed up north to the National Science and Media Museum on the 9th of February 2023 to hold a panel on Yorkshire’s games heritage as well as a regional games social, during Yorkshire Games Festival.
The panel, hosted by Luke, included Abbie Willet (Sumo), William Pugh (Crows Crows Crows) and Andrew Crawshaw (Thunkd). Together, they discussed their career paths into the industry, the local games community and what made Yorkshire special for games.
This was followed by our first regional social of the year. BAFTA will be running a series of regional games socials throughout the year, which are an extension of the successful London games socials held each month at 195 Piccadilly.
