Maryam Drammeh - 2022 Winner (age 15-18)

Maryam is a two-time BAFTA Young Presenter finalist and 2022 winner in the 15-18 age category.

Maryam is hugely passionate about spoken word, poetry and literature as well as music and pop culture. Her first project as a BAFTA Young Presenter saw her introducing live events in front of hundreds of people and interviewing Horrible Histories writer and podcaster Greg Jenner.

Since then, Maryam has been interviewing on the red carpet at the BAFTA Children and Young People Awards, BAFTA TV Awards and interviewed BBC Radio 1 DJ, Clara Amfo, to support Children's Mental Health Week.
