Trevor Peacock

A British actor who may be best remembered as the bumbling villager Jim in The Vicar of Dibley (1994-2007), but whose screen career spanned 50 years. Often a guest actor, he did have larger roles in The Old Curiosity Shop (1979-1980), Wish Me Luck (1990) and Family Business (2004). He also wrote numerous songs, including ‘Mrs Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter’, which went to number one in the US in 1965, sung by Peter Noone and Herman’s Hermits.
