An Australian actor and dancer who spent most of his career in the UK. Faulkner moved to London in 1950 to tread the boards in the West End, but soon landed roles on screen, most notably Mr. Denning Drives North (1951) and A Killer Walks (1952). Numerous other roles would follow, including Web (1957-58), Our House (1960) and Richard the Lionheart (1963). As a renowned expert in flamenco, Faulkner was awarded Spain’s Order of Civil Merit in 1985 for popularising the dance.
