Tom Laughlin

9 August 1931 to 12 December 2013

After beginning his career with small roles in the likes of South Pacific (1958), Laughlin went on to embrace the American indie movement as an actor, director and screenwriter. He found success with Billy Jack (1971) in which he took on the title role, and returned to write and direct three sequels.
