An American singer-songwriter and occasional actor, who had multiple chart-topping singles and bestselling albums, earning her eight Grammys and many more nominations. Tina Turner’s acting career was limited to just a few, most notably playing Aunt Entity in Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome (1985), which also featured her international hit single ‘We Don’t Need Another Hero’. She also had cameos in Tommy (1975) and The Last Action Hero (1993) and appeared in an episode of Ally McBeal (2000). She sang the title track to the 17th film in the James Bond franchise, GoldenEye (1995).
