Roger Kean

A British magazine publisher and editor, who co-founded Newsfield with artist Oliver Frey and his brother Franco Frey. Among its first publications were the beloved UK games magazines Crash (1984-1991) and Zzap!64 (1985-1992), which focused on the games of early home computers the ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 respectively. Roger Kean also served as editor of Crash for the first 44 issues, passing on his duties to take on the role of editorial director. He later became involved with writing and editing publications about retro gaming.
