A British television writer, who tended to specialise in crime, law or police dramas over a 30-year career. Among Ray Jenkins’ many television credits were episodes for Z-Cars (1965-1967), Callan (1969-1972), The Main Chance (1972-1975), Special Branch (1974), The Sweeney (1975), Armchair Thriller (1978), Juliet Bravo (1980-1981), The Gentle Touch (1981-1982), The Brief (1984) and C.A.T.S. Eyes (1985). However, his work wasn’t limited to crime drama, with Jenkins also writing episodes for the likes of educational series Ways with Words (1965) and Slim John (1970), as well as family drama The Brothers (1972) and thriller miniseries The Woman in White (1982).
