Pat Carroll

An American actress, best known for her role as the voice of Disney villain Ursula in The Little Mermaid (1989). Carroll’s film and television career started in the late 1940s with Hometown Girl (1948) and she would go on to feature in numerous US television series, including regular roles in The Danny Thomas Show (1961-1964), Getting Together (1971-1972), Busting Loose (1977), Too Close for Comfort (1986-1987) and She’s the Sheriff (1987-1989). Film roles included Cinderella (1965), Songcatcher (2000), Freedom Writers and Nancy Drew (both 2007).
