Nikos Papatakis

A friend of influential French writer Jean Genet, Papatakis funded his controversial first film Un Chant d’Amour (1950). He later became a director in his own right, with films such as Les Abysses (1963), The Shepherds of Calamity (1968), Gloria Mundi (1975), The Photograph (1987) and Walking A Tightrope (1992).
