Mona Freeman

An American actress who was signed by Howard Hughes after being crowned New York City’s first Miss Subways in 1941, Freeman’s early credits included roles in Junior Miss (1945) and Black Beauty (1946), The Heiress (1949) and Angel Face (1952) before moving into television until retiring from acting in 1972.
