Mickey Gilbert

An American stunt performer, who stunt doubled for such actors as Robert Redford, Gene Wilder and many others in an incredible array of productions. A former rodeo champion, Mickey Gilbert turned to stunts in the 1950s, later working as a stunt coordinator and second unit director. Just a few of the highlights from more than 130 credits were Ben-Hur (1959), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), Little Big Man (1970), Westworld (1973), Blazing Saddles (1974), The Blues Brothers (1980), The Fall Guy (1981-1986), The Last of the Mohicans (1992), The Nutty Professor (1997) and The Old Man & the Gun (2018).
