Louis Jourdan

A French actor who made his screen debut in Le Corsaire (1939), Jourdan’s career was interrupted by the Nazi occupation of France before moving to Hollywood on the advice of David O Selznick. His first American role was in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Paradine Case (1947), and he became best known for his role in Gigi (1958) and as the villain Kamal Khan in Octopussy (1983).
