An American stunt artist known as a trailblazer for women within the industry, O’Neil helped Hollywood take female stunt artists more seriously after becoming the first woman to join Stunts Unlimited. She notably doubled for Lindsay Wagner on The Bionic Woman (1976-1978) and for Lynda Carter on Wonder Woman (1977-1979).
