Jay Presson Allen

American screenwriter and playwright Jay Presson Allen will be best remembered for her screen adaptations of hits such as The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1969) and Cabaret (1972) - the latter bringing BAFTA and Oscar nominations. Other credits include Marnie (1964), 40 Carats (1973) and Prince of the City (1981).
