An American actor, best known as the voice of Max Payne in the titular games series (2001, 2003, 2012). James McCaffrey’s other notable games credits included Alone in the Dark (2008), Alan Wake 1 and 2 (2010, 2023) and Control (2019). He also starred in several films and television series, including New York Undercover (1994-1997), Viper (1994-1999), The Truth About Cats and Dogs (1996), American Splendour (2003), As the World Turns (2003), Rescue Me (2004-2011) and She’s Gotta Have It (2017-2019).
