Duncan Henderson

Producer, Assistant Director

An American producer and unit assistant director, who started out as a trainee on American Gigolo, How to Beat the Cost of Living and Heaven’s Gate (all 1980). He became a second and first unit director on the likes of Halloween II (1981), Rocky IV (1985) and Outbreak (1995), then worked as a unit production manager on such films as Dead Poets Society (1989) and The Perfect Storm (2000). Having served as assistant and executive producer on several films, his first full producer credit was for Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003), which earned him BAFTA and Oscar nominations. He would go on to produce the likes of The Way Back (2010), Oblivion (2013) and Maleficent 2 (2019).
